The port area’s airspace is a no-fly zone established in cooperation with Wärtsilä and Vaasan Voima.

The conditions for flying within this zone are as follows:

  1. The current national/international requirements and regulations regarding RPAS operations must be met, and documents must be presented upon request to the area’s security organization.
  2. The following information must be reported to Wärtsilä’s security control, which coordinates with other stakeholders in the area, 1 day before the planned flight:
    – Dates
    – Schedules
    – Purpose of the flight
    – Flight commissioner
  3. The security organizations of Vaasa Port, Wärtsilä, or Vaasan Voima have the right to review and reject any photo or video taken within the facility area. Photographing any target that has not been pre-agreed is prohibited.

Note: Point 2 also applies to official operations (excluding emergency situations).
Any potential damages resulting from non-compliance with these instructions are the responsibility of the drone operator.
